The CFA Society of South Carolina promotes ethical and professional standards within the investment industry, encourages professional development through the CFA Program, and facilitates the open exchange of information and opinions.

 2010 Economic Forecasting Luncheon

This is the premier event in South Carolina for investment professionals to gain unique investment insights, actionable ideas, and network with other industry professionals. Cost is free to members and $25 for non-members. The event will be held at the Capital City Club at 1201 Main Street in Columbia on February 11th from 12 - 2. Registration deadline is February 8th. SPEAKER PROFILES

  Donald L. Luskin is the Chief Investment Officer of Trend Macrolytics. Prior to founding Trend Macrolytics, Don was vice chairman and co-chief investment officer of Barclays Global Investors. After a decade building Wells Fargo Investment Advisors into the world's largest and most innovative investment manager, Don was a member of the three-man management team that sold the firm to Barclays Bank PLC in 1995. His 30-year career as an entrepreneur, executive, investment manager and commentator has been built around his passion for the application of technology and innovation to the challenge of investing. Don appears weekly on CNBC's "Kudlow & Company". His columns are published weekly on SmartMoney.com. He contributes frequently to the editorial page of Wall Street Journal, and to National Review Online. His articles and commentaries have been published in the Harvard Business Review, National Review, Pensions & Investments, Townhall, the American Spectator, the San Jose Mercury News and the Detroit News. 

   Keith McCullough is the CEO of Hedgeye (formerly Research Edge), where he manages the virtual portfolio, asset allocation, risk management, and Macro teams. Prior to founding Research Edge, Keith built a 10-year background of managing money at Carlyle-Blue Wave hedge fund, Magnetar Capital, Falconhenge Partners, and Dawson-Herman Capital Management. Keith got his start as an institutional equity sales analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston after earning his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University, where he captained the Yale Varsity Hockey Team to a Division I Ivy League Championship. Keith is a contributor to Bloomberg and appears regularly on BNN.
